Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone produced any curves for b&w printing on the EX, preferably 
with MIS inks? I've spent two days trying to produce a transfer curve 
as I don't know how to start making real PS curves for 6 inks. I 
thought I'd bring my old EX out of retirement and put it to use.

Which of the MIS inks are you using? 

Sounds like it might be the VM so I would suggest that you start with 
one of Paul Roark's existing curve sets, try it with a 21-step wedge, 
see how far off it is and then open up the curve as see how the R, G 
and B curves have been adjusted as a starting point.

I believe you will be better off doing curves inside Photoshop rather 
than using the transfer function in the Epson driver.
