I pulled the Epson site $20 rebate coupon off their site and got the link posted here for the $50 off from Office Depot printed out, but in following the threads I hear of an additional $20 off but can't find it described clearly by anybody or a link posted. Where is it? Is it Office Depot or Epson?? I bought the printer at a local store... Jim Hayes

At the risk of reigniting the feeding frenzy over the C84 from Office Depot - there are actually two different "$20 off over $75" coupons that OD is offering now, but both of them fail when applied to the C84 with the online response others have noted (your order total is $0.00, or something like that.) HOWEVER, Office Depot also has a $10 off coupon for orders over $50 that DOES work with the C84. It is coupon code 21135703. Now that it is verified that the $50 Office Depot coupon works (I don't remember the SKUs showing up on the rebate form when I printed it yesterday, but they're there now and clearly include the C84) and the $20 Epson coupon is a lock, the additional $10 off brings the effective price down to $17.81 plus whatever your locally applicable sales tax is on $87.81. Here in my part of Missouri, the total outlay will be $23.91. That's a pretty good deal, I think. Cheers, Kip

According to a conversation I had with one of their "on-line" sales reps, the have "discontinued" this item (NOT Epson, but Office Depot), and have no "on-line stock" to sell, nor will they be re-ordering this printer for their shelves....According to her, stock is limited to what is on the shelves in their retail outlets....PERIOD.. For those that are still interested, it might be worth trying the online order, though. I just completed an online order about an hour ago (4:30 PM CDT) which seemed to go through OK - it took my credit card information, gave me an order number and a delivery date of 6/14, and a subsequent email confirming all this (I'm in St. Louis, MO, and the order was processed in Chicago.) But it sounds like, even if you can still order one you won't be able to do so for much longer. If an online order doesn't work, I mentioned in a post yesterday that at least one of my local Office Depot stores had several C84s on the shelf, and the store gave me a $20 discount at the register on the Canon printer I actually bought - using the coupon code that used to work on the C84 as well. So if the online stock turns out to be depleted, you might check out a local store in case they have one on hand. There's a chance they would also honor the $10 off over $50 coupon code mentioned in an earlier post. Cheers, Kip At 6/11/2004 06:18 PM -0400, you wrote:
