Moab Entrada Natural

2004-08-05 by Randy Rancier

Does the Entrada Natural print with as cold of a tone as the one with
optical brighteners using Eboni ink? I realize the whites probably
won't appear as cold as the optically enhance version. I'm looking
for papers that print neutral to very cold; any other suggestions are
appreciated.

I got some Moab Entrada Natural yesterday. It might be a while
before I get a chance to print on it.
Thanks,
Randy

Coldest I've seen are the Legion Photo Matte, Moab Kayenta Photo Matte
and Hawk Mountain Condor Bright White.

Thanks Richard, I saw your earlier post, I will definately check them
out. Only problem is that some of the papers like Condor aren't
available to my knowledge in 8.5 x 11 shts. Guess I could cut the
sheets down until I get a larger printer.
Thanks again,
Randy

Hi Randy,

I'm not using Eboni Black but, with standard UC inks and the Epson 2200, Entrada Natural prints quite a bit warmer than Bright White, however, not as warm as Epson Ultrasmooth. Actually, Entrada Natural has recently become one of my favorite papers!

Where's a good vender for the Legion papers? I understand that the
Entrada white (not Natural) is very similar to the Condor; any
comments? Any response to the quality of blacks (i.e. Dmax) on the
papers mentioned below to include Entrada White and Natural?

Hi Randy,

Hawk Mountain will sell the Condor BW in letter size, it's just not
listed on their site. Price I was given is $32.50 for 25 sheets.
