That's your view...

You have experienced unusual performance from your printer ink combination

I don't hide from the fact that I am a reseller. Would you rather I heaped
praise on a product and did not reveal my interest? If you look at the
history of this group... and others... I have helped people use other
products I do not sell. And, obviusly that's impacting people enough that I
have started getting people emailing me personally for help with products as
varied as Nikon scanners and Epson printers with other inks, in which I have
no commercial interest. As for always blaming the printer, no, I don't.

Ben, I think you are right, I should probably get rid of the warnings as I
have never experienced a problem with them. My understanding is that the two
ink sets are extremely different.
Perhaps Epson should now be made to say "Uses more ink, prints less pages
per cart than Indelible"?, or "A very small percentage of our printers do
not work at all, right out of the box!" And I am not being anti-Epson here.
I love them. But both statements are _apparently_ as true as "A very small
percentage of users experience problems with Piezography"

I am sorry you had that experience. I would still recommend you try again.
There are numerous reasons for recommending Piezo, and numerous reasons why
it is not suitable for everyone. I was hoping to encourage Stu to try and
get the system working. Some problems require persistence, but once solved,
they stay solved... some just require a bit of maintenance to ensure they
don't happen.
We could all discuss at length the benefits of alternative suppliers of
quad-tones... but EVERY system has it's down-sides, and I would just remind
every one of that. No point Stu or anyone else rushing to get a dye ink to
print on glossy if longevity is their key issue... or metamerism, or
'colour' of print... no point rushing to MIS if you never want to touch a
curve.

So do I Ben... but I wouldn't hold your breathe for Indelible quadtones...
they may well come 'soon' but who knows... and when they do I wouldn't be at
all surprised if the same questions were being asked of them. By the way, I
have nothing against either of these products... I could regurgitate many a
positive selling point, but I do not have personal experience of them.
