I've used only the MIS quad inks on my old 3000 for at least 4 years - and it was a refurb when I bought it. No clogging problems. Although I now do my "real" prints on a 7600, I still use the old 3000 for odd bits of stuff. Like your grandma's old bakelite phone, it doesn't break down. Change your inks!
