Quad Tone RIP

Is anyone using Harrington's quad tone rip with the 2200 and uc
inks? I've been hearing good things about it; maybe an alternative
to Imageprint?

It is a good alternative. If you are on a Mac then IJC/OPM is a great alternative as well.

Quad Tone RIP

Richard,

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded the program and then the update. But so
far, my black and whites are coming out with huge color shift to red using
Quad2200- K7 printing model and Epson En. Matt paper.

I did print out the calibration chart which seemed to be in true colors, but
the blacks seemed to be off in the magenta or cyan range. Hmmmrrffff!

Take care,

Gregory,

You have the wrong printer type selected. Because you have OEM UC
inks, you should select "Quad2200" without the K7 option.

Good luck.

Shilesh
