Ilford pearl classic

Ilford pearl classic

2004-09-18 by Stephen Kobrin

Am I correct that the only difference between Ilford Pearl Classic
and Pearl Smooth is the surface of the paper. I bought some of the
former by mistake and it seems to work well with the Paul Roark's
curves and UT2 inks.

Ilford's "Classic" papers are for dye inks - like Epson 1280 series inks and Fotonics.

The non-Classic papers are for Pigment inks - like Epson 2200 inks and MIS's UT inks.
