Opinions of CIS for 2200P?

Opinions of CIS for 2200P?

2004-09-30 by crislomcam

Hi,
I'm new to this group..
After printing for a couple of years with Piezo inks and an Epson 1160, I'm thinking of
making a change. For whatever reason, I have some ink nozzles that I can't get unclogged
no matter what I try, so I'm thinking of dumping the 1160 and getting some newer
hardware. The 2200P looks like the right fit for me budgetwise, but it's not supported by
Cone's system, so I'm thinking of going with Sundance's hextone system and getting a CIS
that MIS makes for the 2200P. Sundance has a photoshop plugin for mac osx which I
assume is similar to the old Cone plugin that I originally used and had great success with.
So, does anyone have experience with this setup (2200P, hextones, CIS from MIS, osx
plugin)?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, in the below message I meant to write "Septones" not "hextones".
