loading profiles for QTR

loading profiles for QTR

This may be obvious to some, but I don't know which set of profiles
to load for a 9600.
There are two sets, one labeled install9600 and on install9600ipp.

Any other install or first time operating tips for a QTR newbie.

mac, UC inks on epson 9600,

Use install9600 if printer is connected with USB or Firewire

Use install9600ipp if printer is networked with card.

I'm finding after installing QTR it's best to run "Repair Disk Permissions". Seems like the
last time I ran it many CUPS files needed to be fixed.

After installing QTR on a client's computer one printer would not show after booting - it
always had to be added and would be lost after shut down. After running "Repair Disk
Permissions" all was back to normal.

John thanks, I was going to load it on a laptop so I could connect
via USB. Thought that
was the only connection supported.

Forgot there is no firewire with QTR.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
