R9 B&W plugin + MIS FS qauds

R9 B&W plugin + MIS FS qauds

Am I right in thinking you can use the r9/sundance B&W plugin with the MIS
FS quads in a 4 ink machine to control the print (as opposed to using the
Randall curves etc) - Epson 1160

thanks

Yes, that should work.

The old Piezo driver had a weak dmax and other characteristics I didn't
like, which is what got me into the curves in the first place.

For the new UT-FS and FSN inks, I have a few newer curves available also. I
think MIS has them posted or I can send them to you. Let me know off list
if your interested.

Paul, I'm using the FS "standard" - ie slightly warm inks I think

I've got so many quadtone curves for different genewrations of inks
sat on my machine I can't remeber which are which anyway anymore...
and the MIS workflow page seems increasingly confusing (or maybe it
was just too late last night)

Maybe you could email me whatever are the last/best curves for the
MIS FS "stnadard" inks?

thanks
