Uwe over at www.outbackphoto.com just started a 1Ds Mark II diary, but not much information, yet. There is www.dpreview.com, of course, but I think they've only done a "sneak peek" type of thing so far. Not much information available, yet. But, that should change in the very near future since Canon has already begun shipping these cameras; though the supply chain will be scarce for awhile!

FYI, Michael Reichmann will be comparing the 1Ds Mark II to the prior 1Ds model, as well as his brand spanking new Phase One P25 medium format back. Based on his comparison with the Kodak 16 megapixel medium format back, I'm dying to read what comes out of the P25 comparison. I believe Michael expects to have this evaluation online by the end of this month.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
