Any B&W tips for R800?

Hi group, Recently started playing with the R800 for B&W as small paper alternative to the 4000. Driver is different from other Epson printers I've had (no black only for example). Any tips on how to get best B&W from R800 will be greatly appreciated. Using mostly Luster and matte papers. Thanks, Tony Bonanno
