QTR Gui 2.1.1 Problems

QTR Gui 2.1.1 Problems

2004-12-02 by johndavidgill2003

I've just downloaded the new versions of QuadTone and the GUI front
end. Previous version of both worked OK but a couple of problems have
now appeared.
Firstly on launching QTRGui I get an "Invalid Floating Point
operation" error message (although clicking OK lets the program
start.)
Secondly drag and drop printing no longer works - I get an !Image
must be tiff file" message and QTRGui freezes (need task manager to
kill it). However the same Tif prints OK if the image is selected via
the menus and then printed.

Does the "invalid floating point operation" happen after you close QTRgui
normally then run it a second time? Anyway, you can probably correct this by
deleting your QTRgui.ini file and reconfiguring the program.

Can you provide a screen capture of the "!image must be tiff file" message?

Steven,
Problem solved - I manually deleted the QTRgui.ini file and
reinstalled both QTRgui and the RIP itself and both the floating
point message and the drag and drop problem cleared. I think the
problem was that the new RIP installation went to a new folder and
tyhere was a stray .ini file left over.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
