Almost no GTR print!

Almost no GTR print!

2004-12-03 by wharfwalker

I downloaded the new QTR etc, for the Epson 4000 (both programs) and
installed them. Without expecting it to work 'out of the box' I sent
a print off to the printer and it printed. It was an awful print, not
the right size, grainy, quite unpleasant really but something to work
on.
I changed the odd setting and tried again, and again.... Nothing has
printed since that first flush of success. No error messages. Just an
apparent computation and then nothing.
Has anyone any suggestions?
John

Are your prints at 16-bit rather than 8-bit? That would account for
the look of your print. You should be printing at 8=bit As for your
printer not printing, try rebooting, also make sure that you are
networked -- in my case online.
