i tried the Monaco XR last week, to calibrate for UT7 printing. it worked fine on my desktop, but didn't work at all on my laptop. the result was a horrible pinkish hue, even after several attempts. the problem might be related to one mentioned in the article michael referred to, because i did indeed get something they warn about but tell you to ignore (namely indications that the brightness needs to be dramatically turned down). /daniel --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Michael Gordon" <michael_gordon@v...> wrote:

Hello Paul,
I use the Monaco as does a pro printer outfit here in New Orleans.
I've calibrated two Powerbooks, three monitors, my printers and all
papers with the system - all calibrates perfectly.
Very happy with it - won't hesitate buying it again if I wreck it..=*^)
