Digital BW, The Print

Good Day All:

I am just trying out the new Windows version of QTR on an Epson 
4000, XPHome and using the GUI front end. It all installed fine and 
I can get a file to print but the preview will not show on the GUI 
and I am getting banding on almost all the prints.

There is an initial light band within the first .75 inches of the 
print, then light banding throughout.

There is no banding when I print the same file with the Epson driver.

I know how to adress this within the Epson driver, but can anyone 
offer some advise as to how to correct it within QTR?
