C86 Always on?

C86 Always on?

2004-12-23 by scott_now_coming

I'm using Mis EZN carts in the C86.

Should I leave the power on when not in use, or power it off with the
C86 power switch?

(All of my other Epsons with oem inks I leave powered on constantly
and never had a clogging issue).

I "cured" the SLIGHT banding problem by turning off the "High Speed"
feature in the Epson print driver.

I've only printed 3 8x10's and already I want a CFS unit.
Or, re-fillable carts since this printer will only do 8.5x11".

I usually turn printers off at night. I've heard arguments going both ways,
and I'm not sure there is a right answer.
