Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
When I select roll paper in QTR and try to print I get the LCD 
message "Load paper from tray" and nothing prints...  Anyone else 
getting this?  When I load the roll paper in the normal fashion the 
LCD icons  roll paper and scissors are displayed... 
Any special settings or tests I should try...? 

And FYI, I just compared a QTR semi-matte w/ an IP print and their 
equally neutral...
