Followed your advice and still won't print if image is on d: Copied image to c: and prints fine. Can live with that. It did clean out all the old links and installed in the correct folder now. Don't know where theQuadTonePCbeta3 came from.

Thanks for the attention to the problem. Hope you get to enjoy the holiday and don't spend it debugging..

Thanks

I have some (perhaps) good news.

While testing the cleanup program I was able to experience the problems some
of you have been having--Printing but nothing happens. If you have DEBUG
set, the Command window flashes by.

I think that something must be wrong in the copy of QTRgui 2.1.7 that is in
the QuadToneRIP version 2.1c. I have created what should be the same thing,
but called it version 2.1.8 and posted it on
www.sbillard.org/Shareware/QTRgui.htm. So far I haven't seen the problem
with this copy. The only concern I have is that the problem with the other
2.1.7 copy was not persistent and I can't figure out what was different when
it worked from when it did not.

I still recommend you run the cleanout program and start with a fresh
install of QuadToneRIP 2.1c. Then install QTRgui 2.1.8 over top of that
  install.

FYI:

Ran cleanout program, downloaded QTR 2.1c, then QTRgui 2.1.8.

Still will not print [@2800] but will print @1440 [???]

Something to add to the stew..

PS, the prints are great !

2880 is something Roy will have to address. I know that his profiles are
made for 1440.

Agreed. I have a problem with 2880dpi also, but 1440 works okay, as
long as I use a predefined paper size. Custom paper sizes bomb on
2.1.7 and cause the paper to feed through and generate a printer feed
error. Win XP with a 2200.
