I´d like to add more positive results: (I changed thread of this
msg)
I have QTR 2.1.c and gui 2.1.7 and they work.
I regret not documenting what I had to do, because after installing
the new versions I had the famous "QTRAnguish"-situation: nothing
seemed to happen. I worked and wondered with the system about
perhaps an hour before it worked.
I saw that file on finnish "tabletop=työpöytä" cannot still
be read
(just like Ukko told). I have changed mails with Roy about this, but
it is not a big problem when you know it. I have my printable files
in a separate folder, not in any of QTR-folders. QTR is on drive C,
printable files on drive F.
I did not restart my computer (WinXP) but I removed the most obvious
QTR-files before using the new installing program. Sorry but I have
a feeling that this was not everything I had to do, just cannot
remember.
I just write this note to give you folks hope with this great
software, I am sure Roy and Stephen will find something that makes
installing more streamlined.
