After reading all the doom and gloom messages under the "QTR Anguish"
heading, I just wanted to let Steve and Roy know that there is at least one
seriously challenged computer novice out there who has followed their
instructions and as a result everything is working exactly as it is supposed
to work. I am using Windows XP, home edition and the Epson 2200 printer. I
completely removed all of my previous QTR and QTRgui files using Steve's
clean out program (I wouldn't have known how to do that without Steve's
program) and then installed Roy's QTR version 2.1.c and Steve's QTRgui 2.1.8
on top of that. But then, of course, I have to admit that everything was
working perfectly before I installed this latest up grade. Do I dare to now
delete the loop back adapter, i.e. if I knew how to delete it? Seeing as how
everything is working so well, maybe it's a good thing that I don't know how
to delete it. That check for $ 50.00 I wrote to Roy several months back was
probably the best $50.00 I ever spent in terms of value received for dollars
spent.

I'd like to add my QTR/QTRgui experience to the positive side of the ledger. I'm
using QTR 2.1b with QTRgui 2.1.5, XP Pro, Ethernet, Epson 2200, UC inks. I'm
getting outstanding results on PhotoRag 308, and Crane's Museo card stock, after
a little Photoshop tweaking, and finding the right Blend, Ink Limit and Gamma in
Steven's superb interface. (Now I hope I haven't jinxed myself.)
