Hi all ... I've been very pleased with QTR on my Epson 7600, and am continuing my learning curve! I'm in the process of disposing of my 2 Epson 3000's, and expect I will eventually replace them with a 4000. However, for an interim period at least, I would like to do some experimenting with alternative B&W printing methods. I certainly want to work with Paul Roarks methods, and perhaps the Black only procedure, Bowhaus IJC/OPM, and maybe even ImagePrint. For this work I'm thinking about either a 1270 or a 1280. I would sure appreciate some thoughts from the group with respect the these two alternatives. The 1270 would appear to be somewhat less expensive (neither are especially costly), but would I be missing opportunities by trying to save a few bucks and going with the 1270?
