It took me ages to get a sharpening system that I can use. I've been using Ultrasharp for a while and I like it. I ignore all the defaults, but use the levels commands to get all the edges totally black and the rest totally white. I did a test that John Brownlow recomended on both my scanners, i.e. scratch a blank neg and then sharpen until the cut is sharp. Now I'm quite happy with my sharpening. My big concern is film flatness in the scanningprocess!
