Canon ip 5000 printer

Clayton,
Just started playing with the Canon printer, gorgeous color prints, better than my old Epson 785. It actually has two Black tanks, one is pigment but it used just for text (so far). I was hoping that someone here had found or read of a way to get the printer to use its large black pigment for B&W prints too. If I find a way, I'll post it here.

  Hello Harold,

I think you'll find that most forum members use Epson printers for BW
printing, mainly because of their ability to use pigment inks. I
don't think the Canons can use them. It is possible that some some of
the RIP software may work with this printer.

  Clayton
