Your experience with UT-2 inks and the Epson 1280 matches my own exactly. I found the best way to overcome the clogging problems and still produce high quality B&W prints was to switch to the Epson 2200 and Epson UC inks with Roy Harrington's QTR. An added advantage is that I can now also produce, forgive me for saying it, color prints as well with the same printer and inks, but with the Epson driver instead of QTR. Donald
