Which Process?

I hope the moderator picks this up OK. I sent or thought I sent a quite detailed posting about which process to use for longevity and also mechanical ruggedness. I don't know if it went through. I am looking for advice on the best process for the best mix of mechanical ruggedness and longevity, inkjet (I use an HP7960), Epson C86 with MIS EZTone inks, and dye-sub (particularly an Olympus P300, I hope that's the right model, the one I mean is about US$500-600). The HP does nice B&W prints (at least for my taste); the Epson C86 with the MIS EZTone inks should be archival and the Olympus puts down a protective coating. I find the HP output can smear, the varnishing processes discussed in the Files section of this group are impractical in my living situation, and the Olympus uses dyes. Any help is much appreciated.
