Win QTR and curves/profiles

2005-02-14 by marfoniy

just starting to use QTE on WinXp with Epson 980/UT2 i didn't found
any curve for Ilford Smooth Glossy & Pearl.
In the Mac version these papers they have the proper curves.
It's possible to bring this curves in the Win version?

Alex

p.s. by now i'm dealing for neutral print for this kind of paper
(wich i use) blending the Epson Lustre neutral + cool and lowering
Ink and Gamma but the gray ramp it's not very linear.

How to use them?
I've downloaded the profiles (1270-UT2.sit) and unstaffed in a
directory..
Found text files an a series of install*.command...
I don't know nothing about Mac and how to manage these files.
Could You explaine how to transfer the information under a WinXp
system?

The text files are ink descriptor files. Open them in the curve creator then
press the create curve button.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
