2880 no longer a choice in epson 1280 driver?

2880 no longer a choice in epson 1280 driver?

2005-02-23 by Douglas Meeuwsen

Wow...I "upgraded " to the newest driver for my 1280, and now the
choices are diferent. There is no mention of 1440 or 2880. Just Photo,
best photo, and Photo rpm. What is that? That seems like the c86
driver, but it definitely says photo 1280 in the window. On the c86,
rpm photo is the best supposedly, even though the other choice is
called "best photo" ....figure that one out.......anyone know if this
is a new driver? I got it from epson a few weeks ago.......DM

Start at the top and go back. RPM on the C82 is 5760 but no option to turn
on high speed.

I wish the heck they'd go back to numbers. I guess they are trying to
appease the home shmo who is lucky to figure out which button causes paper
load and which causes ink to move.

One would think on the anyhting over $200 the buyer is serious enough they
could give him/her real numbers.
