MIS Quad Cartridges

MIS Quad Cartridges

2001-11-19 by Martin Wesley

I was checking out the MIS website and I noticed that they now have
all three quad ink sets, Original, Full Spectrum (FS) and Variable
Mix (VM) available for almost all the Epson printers. Even the
chipped printers. A set is about $50 - $60.

So if anyone wants to give these inks a try, the investment is pretty
reasonable. Especially if you have been wanting to check out the FS
with the Piezo driver.

For first time quad ink users you can now give MIS VM a try for an
investment of only $60. Just switch out the Epson carts and you are
in business. Don't like the quads, just put the Epson carts back in.
Sounds like a deal.

They also have virgin carts for the 1270/80/90 with separate one time
chips. The carts can be refilled but the chips have to be replaces.
The chips are only $5 so this is workable for doing experimental
mixes.

Either refilling carts with MIS's chips, or using that chip like Chris says,
with the tube-direct-to-head approach, both sound like viable options! Carts
if you want to switch inks, the tubes when you've settled on one ink.
