Manual Feed with 2200 and QTR/OSX Please

2005-02-25 by Mr_Misty_44

Can anyone tell me how one uses the Manual paper slot in the rear of
the 2200 for thick paper when you are printing with QTR/OSX. In the
instructions which come with the printer it says,"You cannot print on
thick paper in the Manual feed slot when you're printing with
Macintosh OSX Applications" Can this be true? There must be some way
to set up the boarders, etc. What is the procedure? I've ask before
with no response. If an answer has been given previously please point
me to the post.
Thanks

Hi John... When you put paper in the manual feed, the printer automatically
chooses it, whether you have paper in the top load or not. With QTR you
just put it in the back as you would using the epson driver.

I use a custom size paper setting, no margins which you set in "page setup",
choose your QUAD2200 there as well under "format". Then back in print with
preview I add something like .05 to the left margin under "position" and it
comes out center on the paper.
