Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone tried Ultrabase as an anti-newton ring scanning medium? Was
the AN material visible in the scans? Martin, weren't you about to try
this last summer sometime?

Peter,

I purchased a box of this stuff from Mediastreet. It is an ok product 
for low res scans. But if you want to scan at high resolution the 
clay coating will show in the scan.

I think the manufacturer recomments it for 300% enlargment of less.

Unfortunately I thre out a whole pack when I moved or I would give it 
to you.
