Bastard child limited edition photographs that sell for over half a million dollars says to me they are pretty well accepted by the art world (and my gallery is happy to sell my own limited editions for $4,000 a piece...) Bear in mind as well that in the past many photographers just followed a practice that in effect gave open ended editions > Help!
