Other art comes in limited editions - Degas' Bronzes for example or Goya's
or Picassos etchings

Bastard child limited edition photographs that sell for over half a million
dollars says to me they are pretty well accepted by the art world

(and my gallery is happy to sell my own limited editions for $4,000 a
piece...)

Bear in mind as well that in the past many photographers just followed a
practice that in effect gave open ended editions

THOSE are copies though.  That was their point.

These are from the original file, therefore limitless.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
