Hello Bernie,
there are two plug-in, Photoframe by Extensis http://www.extensis.com/
and Photo/Graphic Edges by Auto F/Xhttp://www.autofx.com/
Photoframe is my favorite one. You can see more in Photo Life Magazine (canadian magzine) of setember/01

Wasn't there also a thread on borders a while back? I checked the archive and didn't find much. The $199 price is a bit high considering I only would use 2-3 of the 10,000+ offered borders! <G>

Check out Digital Light & Color's Picture Window Pro, a powerful image
editor specifically designed for photographers by the guy who wrote Lotus
1-2-3 (who is also a photographer): you can get a free, non-crippled trial
version at www.dl-c.com. It has an "Add border" function that allows you to
use any image or mask you create or choose as a border. You could, for
instance, scan in some borders you like, modify them, save them as masks,
and then apply them to your pictures. PWP doesn't read Photoshop files, but
presumably you'd be adding the borders to the to-be-printed version, so
saving as a TIFF or JPEG and then adding the border and printing from PWP
should not impose much of a burden.

I've been using PWP for a couple of months now, and though it has some
idiosyncracies, with it you can do most of what most photographers would
want to do. It supplements Photoshop nicely and, for under $100, I think
it's a bargain.
