help with panoramic prints on Epson 2200

2005-03-14 by bwdaly

hi everyone,

i'm new and am having a problem printing on an Epson 2200. what i'm trying to do is
print 13x34 inch panoramic images from hasselblad Xpan negatives. the prints seem to
be going fine using GIMP-print, but for some reason that inexplicably stop partway
through, ranging from maybe 1/4 to 3/4 of the way through. sometimes i get a message
saying "unable to send print file to printer (canceled 0)" and other times there is no.
message. when this does happen, i get the error on the printer itself in which the paper-
sheet and all the ink lights are blinking but the power light is dark.

does anyone have any idea what might be going on? i've printed one beautiful B&W
panorama using the quadtone rip software, but i'm stuck after that.

best,
brad daly

Brad,

Probably better response on the 2200 group. They handle s2200 pecific
issues pretty well.

I believe conventional wisdom is to print at 12.5 x 34 - solution
