Digital BW, The Print

Windows XP
Epson 2200
QTR 2.1.13

On each and every attempt to print an 8.5 x 11 sheet of EEM, QTR is 
printing a very thin line all the way down the length of the sheet 
about 1/8 inch from the edge. As the paper feeds through it's on the 
left (opposite side to where the head parks) or if you're looking at 
the print it's on the right.

The file is prepared in PS like this - an 8.5x11 white canvas with 
the image placed in the centre.

On the QTR dialog I have 
paper=letter
orientation=portrait
source=sheet
type=other
placement=centred
scale 100% To fit is un-checked
Res=140
Speed=better
Dither=ordered

Any idea what is causing the problem and how to rectify it?

It sounds like a bug that was fixed awhile ago.  You should
run the latest version 2.2a

Do I need to first uninstall QTR 2.1f before installing the newer 
version 2.2 ?

Got 2.2 installed now - first print coming through and it's still 
printing the thin line 1/8 from the paper edge.

I dont get this when I do a col print via the epson driver.

You might try the current version of QTR--version 2.2a.

Get Steven Billiards QTRCleanout.exe and it will remove all instances 
of QTR and from the registry. Then install the newest version. I 
think Steven's site is www.qtrgui.com or you can get it from one of 
his emails.
