I totally agree. The new default or "Date" sort order sucks. You have
to scroll to the bottom of the message list to find the older posts,
then scroll up to follow the thread, then hit the "Previous" button to
get to the newer messages.  They "fixed" something that wasn't broken.  

Since when did "Previous" mean subsequent, and "Next" mean older?  I
know that email programs often default to newest on top, but they let
you change that behavior.

I've sent several feedback messages to Yahoo.

The new Thread feature does present the earliest on top, I'm trying 
reading with threads rather than by Date.

Have you tried the Thread view to see if you like it better?  I don't 
think it has that problem.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
