downloaded quadtone..I'm confused

downloaded quadtone..I'm confused

2005-03-29 by montauklady

I downloaded Quadtone. I admit I am not technically proficient. How do
I import my images from photoshop to the quadtone program. Can anybody
give me a step by step once downloaded?
FYI I'm a B&W printer with chemistry, now highly allergic. I have 4
pictures going up in a show in a month, and I'd like to be able to
digitally print as well as a could in the past. The ideas discussed in
the group dialogue seemed to be a solution, but I'm struggling to get
up to speed. Thanks, Ann

Ann:

You will need to tell us what computer you use (Mac or PC) the answer depends.

If it is a PC, then you save your image from Photoshop as a TIFF and open it in
(or drag and drop it to) QTRgui then select PRINT. I'm not a Mac person, but I
believe you have to install the QTR print drivers. Then you print like to the
QTR driver like you would to the Epson driver.

Since I"m reading the list late in the day, someone may have already asked this, but are you on a Mac or PC--that will make a difference (I'm on PC).

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
