Digital BW, The Print

I would like to get started in B&W printing and the ideal first step appears to be through 
the Epson C82 to C86 range of printers.

My problem is in Australia it appears that only the C82 and a C83 printer were released, 
there were no C84 or C86 according to Epson Australia's website. In Australia we do use 
slightly different model numbers. I saw a new  Epson C83 in a store, does anyone know if 
the C83 is possibly just the C84 or should I just try to find a used C82 on Ebay Australia 
and not take the risk.  Any help would be appreciated.
