Eboni - a first step?

Eboni - a first step?

2005-04-13 by Henrik Frejborg

I use the UC carts in my 2100 and will continue to need the colour
capability. But could I improve on anything? Perhaps using the Eboni
black?

Yes, you can subsitute Eboni for the Epson Matte Black and you could
also subsitute the MIS PKN for Epson Photo black when printing to RC
papers. Both will yield better neutrality when making black only
prints, particularly the PKN on RC papers.

I agree with Carl. I used the Eboni in my 2200 and found much
improved B&W output. Especially nice with BO printing. Worked fine
for color on matte papers also. I no longer have the 2200, but have
just ordered some Eboni for my 4000. Will find out soon how it works
in the 4000.
