Digital BW, The Print

I typically use Epson inks in my 2200 (windows) with QTR.  No 
problem.  I have heard (here, I am sure) that MIS eboni works better 
in the black position, especially for good dMax.

I stopped using MIS inks a while back mainly because it seemed I had 
to run two clearning cycles to bet the black ink to work at all (three 
different cartrideges had this problem).  This is EVERY time I used 
the printer if more than 5 or 6 hours passed.  Add to that the fact 
that the cartridges leak all over creation when you take them out 
(unless you find a good way of plugging them up).  I decided they were 
too much trouble.

Question 1:  I have heard somewhere that they improved the leaking 
problem (when removed).  True?  (Of course, if the cleaning cycle 
problem is taken care of, I'd probably just leave that cartridge in).

Question 2:  Also, this cleaning cycle issue - has this been 
improved?  I really like the prints that Eboni makes, but it sure 
costs me in wasted ink in clearning cycles.
