Digital BW, The Print

My 1280 has apparently bit the dust via the notorious
printhead failure after 3 years and 2 years of MIS UT2
using a CFS.... ultimately with very good results to
my eyes.  I have purchased a refurb Epson Photo 900
which uses the same OEM inkset as the 1280 (T009 and
T007) and plan on moving the UT2 inkset from the 1280
to the 900.  I have talked to MIS and they said that
it would work with the 900 as long as it was the Photo
900 and not the Color 900.  I plan on starting using
the same curves and settings as on the 1280 to start
.... I mostly use EEM, Velvet Fine Art, and Ilford
Gallerie Pearl but looking to try some new papers. 
Anyway, has anyone any experience with the 900 Photo
using the MIS UT2 inks?  Am I correct in using the
same curves (Roarke) as the 1280?  Experiences and
advice appreciated.

Well, I hope that it works because I have a photo 900 that I've used 
for basic printing, docs, quick prints, my kids experimentation.

Wow, these printers are cheap and really do a great job for non-
archival color stuff etc. Please let us know if the inkset works.
