Thanks.  The 2200 with the ImagePrint rip worked very well in a recent class I took but it is expensive.  The 2200 alone has too much of a color cast in BW.  I'm thinking of the 2200 with the shareware QTR.  Sound reasonable?  Difficult to install?

I hope this does not sound impertinent:  If you are worried about new 
printer announcements, don't buy anything.  If, however, you are 
interested in making the prints as in your message, buy the 2200 NOT 
the R1800. See other messages in this forum for why.

Installation of QTR is very easy.  I use a XpPro OS on a PC.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
