Digital BW, The Print

I cannot get a decent print using the Epson profile for premium 
glossy.  The file is srgb and all of my setting are per the printer 
manual.  I have selected ICM in the driver and turned color management 
off.  I am sure that I have selected the correct profile in "Print with 
Preview."  It makes no differene whether I use Perceptual or Relative 
Colormetric.  I get gastly washed out flesh tones.  

I realize that perfection requires a custom profile, but the canned 
profile should not be this far off.  What am I missing?
