Digital BW, The Print

I exchanged email with Epson Australia today and was informed that the Stylus Pro 4800 is 
already available in Australia, though I haven't verified whether anyone has stock yet.

I was delighted to see the retail price is AU$2,995 (ex GST), thus around AU$3,295. No 
doubt street prices will be lower. Compare this to the AU$4,000 that the 4000 cost up 
until now. Apparently the 4000 has been reduced to AU$2,695 (ex GST).

Is the driver available for download yet? I want to look at the 
included profiles.

Not that I can see. The printers have been added to the drop-down lists, but search 
returns no drivers.

I even went so far as to troll through several of the Epson FTPs to 
see what files had been recently added, but still no luck.
