Storing partially full cartridges

Storing partially full cartridges

2005-05-31 by Johnny Eades

I recently found some original FSN bottles of ink and decided to fill a
new spongeless cart to use it up. My question is concerning the one
taken out becaise of this replacement cart. Do I need to seal it up in
any way to avoid problems later when reinstalled?

I've been using a syringe full of water to rinse off the poppet valve and
then using a piece of tape over outlet. My hope is to avoid ink drying and
then finding its way into the printer head inlet. So far so good.
