Any UK c84/C86 MIS EZ users?

Any UK c84/C86 MIS EZ users?

2005-06-03 by dave0morrow

Hi,

I am considering buying an Epson c84/c86 and using the MIS EZ
cartridges for my black and
white printing. Is anyone here UK based and using this setup? If so,
would anyone be willing
to print one of my images as a test (I'll obviously refund costs) -
I'd hate to spend that much
money and be disappointed (I dont think I will but I'm on a very
tight budget).

Hope thats not being too cheeky!

Thanks,

Dave.

Dave

Happy to help. drop me an email with yr contact details and send me an
image.

I just started using the setup and have been very happy with it. Many
moons ago I used to do a fair amount of darkroom printing but I found
that even with a good darkroom set up at home, I just wasn't finding
the time.

I am printing on matte paper and for the moment have only tried Epson
mat and Epson archival mat.

Occasionally I get banding through the image which sometimes proves
easy to clear and other times less so.

It's fabulous value for output quality.

Cheers, Gideon

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
