Digital BW, The Print

Paul or any other ultra-tone guru,
I've got a 2200 that I recently installed the UT-7 cartridges.  I have
a strong brown cast on my prints.  I have tried to follow the
instructions on the MIS and Paul's web-site.  

However, I am unsure on a few steps.  After converting a grayscale
image to RGB and then applying the appropriate curve for the paper in
Photoshop on a Windows OS:

o What should the "Print space" be...Adobe RGB or some other print space

o After clicking on the "advanced" button on printer properties, do I
set colour management to "No color adjustment" or "ICM"?

Could any of the above have anything to do with not getting neutral
blacks?  I believe I am using the appropriate curve...e.g Epson Glossy
paper with UT7-2200-GlossyPP-Neutral-1 curve.  

Any suggestions?

Start with "Print with Preview" in the newer PS versions, and if curves are
being used, be sure the "Color Handling" is set to "No Color Management."

Adobe RGB (1998).

First hit ICM then No Color Adjustment.

Be sure the nozzle check is good, and it might be a good idea to be sure the
inks look like they are correct.  See the test files at
http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/Test-files.htm.  Print the Purge7-2 and see
that it looks like the Purge7-UT7-2200.  (The settings are written on the
UT7 file.)
