OT - Preferred Intuos tablet size

OT - Preferred Intuos tablet size

2005-06-27 by Jack Winberg

I'm about to order a Wacom Intuos tablet, and am equivocating about the
preferred size. I have a Graphire 4 x 5 and want to upgrade. There is a
"show special", so I get a few bucks off the regular price.

I'll mainly be using it to draw mask outlines, as well as PS retouching,
and wonder if the 4 x 5 would suffice, or should I go for the 6 x 8, for an
extra $100. I'm also willing to try to learn to use the tablet
exclusively, rather than the mouse.

All opinions and reasoning welcome!

Thanks...... Jack Winberg

Hi Jack...Mike Brouphy here -
We got the 6x8 Intuos 3 tablet during the PPA Imaging Expo. Laurie
loves is and had shelved the older 6x8. She says it works much
better and is much more responsive than the older model we had.
Good luck! Mike
