New layer from all other layers?

New layer from all other layers?

2005-07-04 by Steve Kale

Is there an easy, time-saving way in PS to make a new layer from all the layers below?
(leaving all the other layers still separate and visible)

Thanks

Steve

Carolyn

Thanks!! OMG that's so easy - you wouldn't believe the stupid and lengthy
process I have been going through, knowing that there had to be an easier
way but never taking the time to ask...

Anothe way, hold down the Ctrl+Shift+Alt keys hit the
N key which will make a blank layer then with out
letting go of the Ctrl+Shift+Alt press the e key which
will fill the layer with all the layers from below.(
make sure you are on the top layer when you do this.
