Digital BW, The Print

Hello--

I recently purchased a used Epson 7600 Dye-ink engine model, primarily 
because with color output, I prefer dye inks over pigments, especially 
on glossy papers. However, I do enjoy printing black and white images 
and have had great success with a variety of software products, albeit 
on Epson Ultrachrome-ink based printers. Does anyone in the group have 
knowledge and/or suggestions on the best way to get good black and 
white output on the Epson 7600 using dye inks? Does Bowhaus support 
the single-black dye-ink models of printers? Does anyone?

Kip,

the 7600 is "supported" by just about any software, 
certainly by IJC and OPM (the Bowhaus software).
This means the software will successfully make profiles
and print on that machine, but I don't know if anyone has
profiles for the Epson dyes. With IJC, you can
make them for yourself, of course....
